Seth Brown is an outfielder. He has power. He bats left-handed.
I assume, at 30-years-old, and just now coming into his own, he also can't be expensive enough to cost the Yankees one of the (hopeful) future stars.
It seems (according the MLBTR) that Seth Brown of the A's might be available.
Here are Seth Brown's stats from Baseball-Reference:
Baseball -Reference further projects that Brown will hit .226/22/66 in 2023 for the A's.
As he has aged, he has performed better and better. Brown might be a late-bloomer...
Would he a good fit for the Yankees?

Of note, late yesterday, the Yankees signed Rafael Ortega, another low-budget outfielder to a minor league deal.
The Yankees are sure acquiring outfield depth pieces. In the last few weeks, they have also acquired the following outfielders signing all to minor league contracts:
Billy McKinney
Willie Calhoun
Michael Hermosillo
The Yankees are certainly creating depth.
Is this the strategy for 2023?
With this collection of talent, does that indicate that the Yankees are ready to move on from Aaron Hicks?
Are these moves that indicate a bigger move is coming?
what about Sal Frelick?
Here's the skinny on Brown from Baseball Savant (the red stuff is good the blue stuff is bad):
Seems like he's got some pop but strikes out a lot and is not great defensively.
It seems as if they''re lining up a bunch of guys that will make Aaron Hicks look good by comparison.
interesting. Brown might be a serviceable replacement for Carpenter
and if the A's are willing to use Brown as a throw-in in a trade for Puk, the Yankees should look into it
Brown has power but do you like he OPS? Can he field?
Ah yes...........the big deal tba :)
