My Thoughts - Both of those trophies came before 2010, and it's been a long time since then, but, the Yankees do continually give their fans competitive winning teams. (Frustrating teams as well, but they do win more than any other team.) Brian Cashman has not been great at delivering championships, but he has built a team that wins a lot.

My Thoughts - Wow. But, those darn Dodgers are better... (Still, wow! This is amazing.)

My Thoughts - I still cannot decide if Arraez's great hitting outweighs the poor defense.
I think I'd like the Yankees to go for it, although that would keep Jazz Chisholm at third which I'm also not thrilled with.
Possible Lineup:
Arraez
Judge
Bellinger
Goldschmidt
Chisholm
Stanton
Wells
Dominguez
Volpe
That looks like a solid lineup.

My Thoughts - This one is easy, Yogi Berra was a much player than most realize. He was outstanding.

My Thoughts - George Steinbrenner would have been a tough boss to play for. He did have a sense of humor though. I laughed out loud a few times watching this. Neither Steinbrenner nor Letterman could quite demonstrate Rickey Henderson's unique way of catching a fly ball.

My Thoughts - Don Mattingly was great. I think Dave Parker's election to the Hall of Fame opens a path for Mattingly to find his way there as well.

He was pretty good too.
Start of the Season:
Chisholm 2B
Bellinger LF
Judge RF
Wells C (his .341 xwOBA and his left-handedness makes him the best cleanup option)
Stanton DH (.352 xwOBA ly can't be ignored)
Dominguez CF
Goldschmidt 1B (I expect better than ly's .329 xwOBA)
LeMahieu 3B
Volpe SS
By Mid Season:
Dominguez CF
Bellinger LF
Judge RF
Wells C
Stanton DH (if still healthy, LOL)
Goldschmidt 1B
Chisholm 2B
Volpe SS
Oswald Peraza 3B
If Goldy rebounds and if Dominguez catches on, then this is another intriguing lineup that could be deployed at some point:
Dominguez CF
Judge RF
Bellinger LF
Goldshmidt 1B
Chisholm 2B
Stanton DH
Wells C
Volpe SS
Peraza 3B
Also, very entertaining ^^article^^ this morning by Paul. I loved the George Steinbrenner clip, he had a lot of personality.
The notion that Luis Arraez is a good leadoff hitter is very misguided. He's an ideal candidate to be doubled up, nothing more. BSR of -1, Sprint Speed in 30th percentile, Range so bad he's in the 1st percentile (absolute worst of the worst) and a noodle for an arm (12th percentile). -9 Fielding Run Value, -7 OAA, -11.7 UZR/150 (most concerning stat of all, shows he has very low positional awareness).
It's a huge ask, but Jasson Dominguez might eventually have to bat leadoff for the Yankees. He stole 16 bases last season for Scranton and was only caught once. This indicates he has some idea of what to do once he gets on base. Speed wise, he's in…
The chart on 100+ losses illustrates the arbitrary nature of round numbers. The Dodgers lost 99 games in 1992. The Angels lost 99 games last year. (For the record, the Yankees lost 95 games in 1990.) Those are some pretty bad seasons, even if the odometer didn't roll over to 100.
