The Gris-hammer in still in the lineup.

Over / under on Grisham HRs: 0.5

Bellinger is BACK (pun intended)!

Judge is DH -- obviously that aggressive RF wall frightens him.

Can the Yanks hit a pitcher who couldn't get an out as a Yank?

YANKS

Goldschmidt, 1B -- .345

Bellinger, RF -- .238

Judge, DH -- .364

Chisholm, 2B -- .242

Volpe, SS -- .303

Wells, C -- .208

Dominquez, LF -- .276

Peraza, 3B -- .500

Grisham, CF -- .471

Warren, P -- 0-0, 3.60

PIRATES

Hayes, 3B -- .258

Reynolds, DH -- .179

Cruz, CF -- .241

Bart, C -- .250

McCutchen, RF -- .375

Valdez, 1B -- .111

Pham, LF -- .077

Frazier, 2B -- .227

Triolo, SS -- .059

Another non-impressive Williams appearance. I would not be surprised if Warren is sent down immediately to get another reliever.

it is just tough to understand why you dont try just ONE fastball at the top of the zone instead of everything down with 2 strikes? seems like a near guaranteed swing and miss if it is close at all to the top of the zone

The Yankees never beat the Pirates in extra innings on Sundays in 2025. UGGG.

My seat has made up for that over the last two innings.
