The Yankees made the right move, moving on from Caleb Ferguson. In Ferguson’s Astros debut, he surrendered 2 runs over 2 innings against the Tampa Bay Rays, contributing to a 6-1 loss for Houston. In his next appearance, in trying to preserve a narrow 3-2 lead in extra innings, although Ferguson managed to get 2 outs, he ultimately gave up a game-ending home run to Josh Smith, a former Yankees prospect, allowing a dramatic walk-off that ended the game with a 3-2 win for the Rangers against the Astros.
Maybe if the Yankees bring up Oswald Peraza to play 2B, it will inject some much needed additional offense into this lineup. With Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, over his last 20 games, Peraza has hit .308, complimented by a slugging percentage of .551 and an OPS of .951. His wRC+ during this span is 145, indicating a performance well above league average.
Warren's got them fully lulled now
I guess they are just going to leave the kid out there…got to get his pitch count for the day…
where's Eli Manning?
this is the time when the Yankees need a touchdown or two
