I can't find something similar for 1961.

I'm now fascinated by this.

Let's give Fuster credit. The Yankees were not always on when I was growing up. I'm pretty certain of that, and for my area, there wasn't cable yet either.

I get the YES feed for the Amazon games on MLB.tv. Not for the Apple TV games

Every Yankee game in 1961 was televised by WPIX channel 11.

I checked the WPIX web site and that''s their claim. I grew up i the early sixties before cable and I remember every game being televised.

From Compton to the Bronx.jpg

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
