DEIVI GARCIA!
Deivi Garcia has a chance to be one of the great ones.
Electric stuff, poise, and ability, the sky is the limit for Deivi Garcia.
He is the greatest (and only) Yankee player to ever wear #83.
To date, Garcia has pitched all of 34.1 Major League innings. He has allowed 35 hits. His ERA is 4.98. None of that is great, BUT…
Look at these numbers: 33 and 6. Those numbers speak to what the Yankees might have on their hands.
In his short big league career, Deivi Garcia has struck out 33 batters and walked only 6. I like that percentage. I like it. A lot.
I am hoping for big things out of Deivi Garcia. Great things. Wonderful things.
I am hoping that when my grandchildren are running this blog they write, “Hall-of-Famer Deivi Garcia was, of course, the greatest (and only) Yankees’ player to ever wear #83.”
(Well, a man can hope… right?)
