Clayton Beeter who will wear a special MLB Debut Patch in his upcoming major league debut as early as Thursday, March 28 for opening day against the Houston Astros in Texas.
In the second year of this exciting program, rookie players making their Major League Baseball debut will wear the MLB Debut Patch on their jersey sleeve – a memorabilia patch created for Topps trading cards during their first game.
After the game, the patch is removed – secured and authenticated through the MLB Authenticated program – then included in a one-of-one Rookie Debut Patch Autograph Card, to be randomly inserted into Topps packs later this year. Beeter will sign the special one-of-one trading card after the game, making it a unique and historical item for fans and collectors.
During the Seoul Series last week and starting on MLB opening day on March 28, rookies across the league making their MLB debuts are wearing the MLB Debut Patch.
