So much basic truth.

Watching Dominguez again tonight, the Syracuse announcers were almost in disbelief when he made an out! Another LH HR. Showed his speed on another grounder to the right side too. Oh, Rice is looking just fine back in Triple-A.

Boone is still here for the same reason they are letting Verdugo block Dominguez. Cashman will not admit he was wrong.

Regarding the "not bringing up Jasson Dominguez" issue. I just read this take on it, and this actually makes sense. How the Yankees can "quickly go from having two viable left fielders to zero". CLICK HERE: https://www.yahoo.com/sports/yankees-quickly-having-two-viable-184353625.html .

I think the real reason is that they want to protect Dominguez's rookie status for 2025 to try to get that extra draft pick if he wins RoY, and combined with Verdugo's resurrection with his hypo-allergenic batting glove. Since August 24 (12 games), OBP of .370, SLG .432, OPS .802. Why mess with that?

"A young man from Compton rises to the highest levels of baseball greatness.

Considered one of the classiest baseball players ever, this is Roy White's story, but it's also the story of a unique period in baseball history when the Yankees fell from grace and regained glory and the country dealt with societal changes in many ways."
