4:33:09 and $1,000

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO SUPPORTED MY 2024 NYC MARATHON.

As always, it was a glorious day on the streets of New York City. I love the race. I love the people. I love the noise and the streets and the crowds and... everything.

This year I got to experience the race with my son Ryan. It was his fourth marathon and first NYC.

I finished in 4:33:09 (unofficially). Ryan beat me by 15 minutes. (Youth!)

I used this race to help support Sesame Workshop, a wonderful organization that I am sure, through Sesame Street, their books, specials, songs, programs, and more have positively impacted almost everyone reading this article.

To date, I have been able to raise over $1,000.00 for this worthy cause.

Sometimes people don't donate to a cause for a person running a race because they first want to make sure the person finishes. Well, I finished. I did great. It was a wonderful day!

I'm hoping, if you haven't yet, you can make a donation to Sesame Workshop.
