Game 55: The Return of Hughes

Phil Hughes is in the midst of his best season as a starting pitcher, and no other season comes particularly close. Many suspected that Hughes would take a leap this season - if only artificially - as he transitioned from the unforgiving duo of Yankee Stadium and AL East to the spacious Target Field in the AL Central. It is a small sample size, to be sure, but the fact that Hughes has essentially slashed his home run and walk rates by two-thirds against last season seems to indicate that he's enjoyed the change (though, his ERA is over a run better away from Minnesota). Let's see how he holds up on a warm day in the Bronx.
