Game 12: Hiroki the Hero

In preparing a game thread, I generally type over a table template that I generated at some point last season, if only because I can never remember how to format it properly. Why do I bring this up, you ask? Simply put, the template that I have been utilizing shows just how dreadfully depressing the Yankees lineup was at times last season. This particular incarnation included Austin Romine, Travis Ishikawa, Luis Cruz, Alberto Gonzalez, Zoilo Almonte, and Vernon Wells. As much as I have harped on the team's infield construction this season, I must say that it is a relief to look at today's lineup and know that the Yankees are no longer trotting out a handful of replacement-level players everyday.
