Happy Anniversary, Don Larsen!

57 years ago today, Don Larsen pitched the only perfect game in World Series history. It was a big series to begin with because you had the New York Yankees playing the Brooklyn Dodgers and it was also a rematch of the previous year's World Series which the Dodgers won four games to three.

With the 1956 series tied two games apiece, Larsen needed only 97 pitches to complete his perfect game, the first one of its kind in the World Series and only one to this day. And of course, everyone knows this famous picture of catcher Yogi Berra jumping into his pitcher's arms:
