Rays 7, Yankees 2: All good things must come to a screeching halt

truckinawall It was unfortunate that Hiroki Kuroda picked tonight of all night's to have his worst start in two years. He gave up seven runs on nine hits in six innings of work. He struck out three, served up four home runs and the Yankees' five game winning streak came to a disastrous end.

The four home runs came off the bats of Jose Lobaton, Evan Longoria, Matt Joyce and Ben Zobrist.

The Yankees' offense didn't do much of anything either. They were held to two runs on four hits in seven strong innings by Chris Archer. At least it's better than the last time they faced him when he held them scoreless.

It was an ugly night.

And things won't be easy for the Yankees tomorrow night either when CC Sabathia faces off against David Price.

Happy Friday!
