Unlike the RiverDogs who just missed out on the playoffs, the Tampa Tarpons wouldn’t have been in the running even had the 2019 Florida State League season been cut short by Hurricane Dorian, along with the cancellation of the playoffs. Despite this, fans of the Tarpons still had plenty of excitement this season, from the parade of big leaguers like CC Sabathia, Didi Gregorius, Miguel Andujar, and Giancarlo Stanton making rehab appearances to Trevor Stephan’s no-hitter to performances by Dermis Garcia and breakout pitcher Miguel Yajure.
